One of my favorite trends to emerge from the Spring ’09 runway shows was the beautiful array of metallic bronzed tones. Usually the spring runways bring us lots of pastels and pinks, so these molten eyes, lips and cheeks were a very welcome breath of fresh air. I loved the shimmery nude looks at Donna Karan, Carlos Miele and Milly.
It’s an easy look to pull off and best of all, you don’t need to drop a load of cash to get the precious metal face. Here’s a list of my favorite products to help turn you into a bronzed beauty for spring.
Avon Celestial Eyeshadow in Moon Sand
This heavenly shadow features a marbleized blend of shimmery neutral tones that can be applied dry for a sheer wash of color or wet for an intense, super-saturated look.
