Autumn is a gorgeous season — the leaves are changing from green to golden brown or reddish orange, and everything seems to be a warmer, more intense shade than before. In my opinion, every sunset is Kodak-worthy during the fall, and I yearn for those same delicious shades in my makeup collection!
So I headed to the mother-ship (aka Sephora) to see what new Aumtum-inspired products I could take home!
Check out my picks:
Red Carpet Reveal Eye & Cheek Palette from LORAC ($34) — This perfect all-in-one case has three shadows and a blush to create looks perfect for day or night. My favorite is the Main Attraction cheek color, which is a gorgeous shimmering rose.
Make Up For Ever Lipstick in Plum 507 ($19) — Plum 507 is a deep matte-burgundy color and it’s a great find for those looking for their first ‘wine’ lip shade. This lipstick comes in four different finishes — pearly, creamy, transparent and matte.
SEPHORA by OPI Dark Room Nail Colour Nail Polish ($9) — What appears to be flat black isn’t just! If you look closely enough, there’s a deep, hunter green that’s mixed in — a fun twist on the usual dark shades of the fall.
Bare Escentuals bareMinerals Liner Shadow: Eyeliner ($13) — I’m a big fan of Bare Escentuals, so I wasn’t surprised when I was impressed with their shadow liners. The shadows can be worn dry for a quiet eye or wet for a more dramatic, pigmented look. My picks? Patio Party, a bronzed bark color, and Legit, a deep eggplant shade. FYI — they’re also smudge proof and water-resistant.
