So I’m not a huge sports fan. Shocker, I know. 

I watch big playoff games (to hit on boys) and championships (again, to hit on boys). It’s kind of my thing.

However, I always enjoy the pre-show, halftime show, and post-show celebrity appearances, and the Superbowl is a mecca for star sightings.

I was super-pumped for this year’s line up. John Legend, Jennifer Hudson (you go girl!), and The Boss! 

So, imagine my surprise when Faith Hill (who I adore) starts singing and instead of enjoying her throaty patriotic number, all I could focus on was her bright blue eyeshadow. 

Maybe she was trying to match the choir behind her, or maybe she was channeling her inner 12-year-old and decided that the color was pretty (even though it clashes with her outfit, skin tone, and everything else). I guess it will remain one of life’s unsolved mysteries. 

However, the last time I saw eyeshadow like that was in 5th grade when I thought caking it on would help bring out my eyes. I was sadly misled and ended up looking like a child hooker. Ms. Hill…why do you do these things to us?
