T-Box: Size Matters

February 26, 2009 by BX Staff One Comment

No matter what anyone says – size matters. tbox1

Being the horrendous packer, cleaner, organizer, you-name-it-er, when this gem came into my inbox, I was instantly drawn to the tiny packaging and the cute outfits. I immediately got my hands on the T-box miniskirt ($29.95) and tank top ($29.95).

The whole concept behind T-box is to bring the fun and flirty side of fashion together with easily transportable and cute packaging. From lollipop and heart shapes to condensed cubes, T-Box packaging allows me to bring almost any article of clothing with me and they all fit in my handbag.

However, much like a Christmas present, the outside is only the beginning. Once unwrapped, my miniskirt was perfect. It fit without being too mini and was still comfortable and practical. The tank tops (which come two to a condensed cube) were just as fun and I even had the option to layer.

As I swirled around in my bedroom’s full-length mirror – a girl’s swirl happens to be a private and personal matter – I felt beach-y and summer-ready. I began imagining filling my largest suitcases with as many T-Box items as possible (which could easily equal to a year’s worth supply).

tbox2And that fantasy I’ve always had of running off to an island with Miguel at a moment’s notice? Not a problem since I’ll have a complete wardrobe change handy (however the lack of a Miguel might prove problematic…psh, details!).

However, it’s important to note that because of the condensed packaging, the clothing tends to be made out of thin material, so they are definitely not made for winter wear. Also, it’s not unusual (or a surprise) that some items come out wrinkled. The miniskirt didn’t have too many wrinkles, but the tank tops did – but hey, nobody is perfect.

Bottom line is that the T-box is USEFUL and FUN, which as we know does not always mix so gracefully in the world of fashion. T-box also has a line of swimwear and mens wear – so should Miguel turn up at any point I’ll have a wardrobe change handy for him too.

This is such a fun concept. I really think I’ll invest in some for my next summer vacation. The only problem that could arise is that I’ll be able to pack so much on the way to the beach and on the way home, once I’ve worn all the clothes and they are no longer in their condensed cubes, I won’t be able to fit everything back into my suitcase!
