November 18, 2009 by Sana Ali 2 Comments

Mashed potatoes. Cranberry sauce. Apple pie. Who can resist the thought of such mouth-watering cuisine served at Thanksgiving dinner?  From now through the day we give thanks, we’ll be featuring a delectable creation inspired by foods found at a fall feast. The best part? You can enjoy these appetizing morsels without worrying about your waistband. Bon appétit!

Soak in your "ice cream" this Thanksgiving!

Soak in your “ice cream” this Thanksgiving!

Now, be honest with me — how many times have you walked through the door after an extremely exhausting day at work and wanted nothing more than to soak in a pool of soothing bliss? And when I say a pool of soothing bliss, I mean water at just the right temperature, lovely bubbles and of course that little extra (amazing-smelling) something that envelopes your body whilst also calming and nurturing it. The last bit might be a tad tricky. A hint? They come in varying flavors and look very much like Beau Bain’s bath bombs.

Yes, I am talking about Beau Bain’s line of bath bombs. So soothing and delicious-smelling that they can export your own fruity or flowery paradise, these bath bombs are inspired by different themes such as tropical fruits, lush gardens and even ice cream!

Mmmm…mango

After placing in the bath, the Beau Bain bath bombs fizzle into the water and allow one to savor the sensuous smells that help relieve stress and exhaustion. A few of my favorites, the White Tea & Ginger and the Spicy Mango bath bombs especially do the trick for me. The White Tea and Ginger soap bombs are spiked with bits of white pepper and soften the body, while the Spicy Mango bombs, which are a blend of fruits with a touch of peach and creamy musk, help me relax by transporting me to sunny and beautiful park.  In this situation, exhausting days can totally work for me. And on the verge of being incredibly geeky, I must admit, these Beau Bain bath bombs are the bomb!

Beau Bain bath bombs can be purchased in different “flavored” packages, including new Petite Bath Bombs (12 mini bombs for $30), and individually for $8 on the Beau Bain website.
