November 6, 2009 by Allison Giuffre No Comment

Mashed potatoes. Cranberry sauce. Apple pie. Who can resist the thought of such mouth-watering cuisine served at Thanksgiving dinner?  From now through the day we give thanks, we’ll be featuring a delectable creation inspired by foods found at a fall feast. The best part? You can enjoy these appetizing morsels without worrying about your waistband. Bon appétit!

This is soap!
This is soap!

Cupcake craving, anyone? Start licking those lips, BX readers, because PureBliss Essentials has got you covered! Now you can give in to your fall season sweet tooth with a deliciously guilt-free treat: a pure goat milk soap cupcake fragranced with a mouthwatering blend of hazelnut and caramel.

Warning: You may have a hard time remembering that it’s for your skin and not your stomach (my roommate may or may not have tried to take a bite out of mine, and I may or may not have stopped her). It looks like a cupcake, smells like a cupcake, and works like a fall foliage dream.

cupcake-treeThe cupcake cares for your skin from head to toe with soap gentle enough to be used for all skin types. In the shower it softened up just enough to lather, and surprisingly maintained its delectable shape for continued use. Note: the milky “whipped cream” topping, being a bit creamier than the base soap itself, is perfect for paying extra attention to rough elbows, knees and any other especially dry areas.

The cherry on top (which is also soap, by the way) is that not only does this yummy wash do wonders for your skin – it’s handmade with organic ingredients, and goat milk is a great moisturizer – but it’s also affordable (priced around $5 each) and will last you all season, too.
