As you all know (or should if you read our articles ::nudge nudge::) Bar Refaeli has signed a deal to become the face of Garnier Fructis’ new Triple Nutrition Hair Care and Anti-Humidity Hairsprays. The products are set to launch this month, but I was lucky enough to test out the Triple Nutrition Fortifying Shampoo ($3.99 for 13 oz), Fortifying Conditioner ($3.99 for 13 oz.) and 3-Minute Undo Dryness Reversal Treatment ($5.99 for 8 oz.) this past weekend.
All three products had a distinct, refreshing apple-infused scent. I love the scent, but I must say that I am a tad confused as to why it has an apple scent given that the three main ingredients are avocado oil, shea oil and olive oil. Putting the smell confusion aside, how did these products work for my hair? Let’s find out…
I could actually feel the difference as I massaged the Fortifying Shampoo into my hair; it left my hair feeling clean, light and even detangled the mass of curls that was a result of sleeping with my hair in a messy bun.
Next, I applied the 3-Minute Undo Dryness Reversal Treatment and let it sit for the recommended three minutes while I finished the rest of my shower routine. As I rinsed out the mask, I could feel my locks turning to silk between my fingers.
Last, but not least, I enveloped my hair with the Fortifying Conditioner, washed it out and relished in how clean, light and silky-smooth my previously ratty hair felt. In just under five minutes, my hair when from something resembling Amy Winehouse’s rodent-nest updo to luscious golden locks (wet, golden locks that is).
So if you want smooth, frizz-free hair (and who doesn’t?) keep your eyes peeled for the Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition line of hair care coming to a store near you soon.
