What do Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Victoria Beckham have in common? Along with their love of the spotlight, they all favor futuristic fashions. For regular folks who secretly want to be Judy Jetson, the China Glaze Khrome nail polish collection helps bring you back to the future.
Complementing their metal-minded looks, all six polishes boast futuristic-sounding names:- Millennium — A cool, steel silver
- Metallic Muse – Sea-foam green with a silvery undertone
- Sci-Fi – An icy, gun-metal lavender
- Robotika –A rosy metallic plum
- 2030 – An intense, yellow gold
- Hi-Tek — A cool bronze
So how do these shiny polishes hold up? After testing each and every one thanks to China Glaze, we found they were out of this world.
While we lacquered up with two coats (pictured), all the China Glaze Khrome polishes are very opaque, so you could get away with one coat. They are highly reflective and don’t streak up at all like most metallic polishes, so you don’t have to worry if you’re not an expert at painting on a perfectly-straight line. It was actually quite shocking how mirror-like they appeared, sans professional application (polish princess Scrangie agrees)! These high-shine metallics are also long lasting (they rank right up there with the best polishes we’ve tested). The final futuristic verdict? Party like it’s 2999, and purchase polishes from the China Glaze Khrome collection in a professional salon near you.
