When I hear the term “lipstick,” I think of grandmas, caked-on color and drawing outside of the (lip) lines. After using IsaDora Crystal Gloss Stick ($12; available in six colors), my impression of lipstick will never be the same.

I guess this isn’t technically a lipstick per-se, but it looks exactly the same, so it is one in my eyes. In reality, Crystal Gloss Stick is a sheer lip-gloss in stick form. It leaves a crystal shine finish while moisturizing and nourishing with shea butter and Vitamin E.

The gloss really does go on smoothly without a heavy, cake-y feeling. For Bermuda Pink (the shade I tested), the color is a little more prominent than I would think for a product that claims to be sheer, but I liked the color so it didn’t bother me at all. The shimmer is very evident, so this might be more appropriate for a night out or the weekend instead of at work.
