OMG this would be perfect! During traveling, especially in the hot summer, my hair gets really puffy and frizzy in humidity, so having this would make having pretty hair s much easier! This is compact and easy to carry and would fit in my travel bag with my straightening serum and shampp/conditioners :) Thanks so much!!!

  • Cathy W. said:

I usually curl my hair every day, full makeup, casual dress, etc. However, when I’m traveling, I do the absolute minimum in regards to makeup and dress (flip flops is my ideal way to travel). I tend to wash my hair and let it just go however it wants to. This flat iron would be perfect. It would minimize the time I normally spend on my hair and still give me some style. Thanks for the great giveaway!

I usually try and pack as little as possible. So basic make-up, moisturizer, and bring small bottle of shampoo. At the same time I try to look as good as possible with as little as I can use. This means wearing my hair curly because how high maintenance it is to straighten it. I’d love to be able to straighten it.

  • Nicole H. said:

When I travel, I have to throw all my hair product and tools in a separate suitcase. I can’t live without my flat iron!! Quite honestly, I’d rather bring a flat iron over makeup! I have super coarse, frizzy, curly hair and styling it can be daunting! I could have so used a travel flat iron on my birthday last year. My boyfriend was too cheap to valet the car, so he made me walk five blocks in the rain :( I had no umbrella, and I had to use the hand dryer to dry my hair. Needless to say, my hair eventually dried, but looked like a poofy, frizzy mess! A travel flat iron would have definitely saved me!!

  • Lisa O'Donnell said:

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you… for the giveaway and the Shout Out!!!

When I’m traveling, I stick to simple makeup–usually, I bring a multi-use palette with neutral shadow and blush shades. I also make sure my lipgloss has SPF in it, as I’m usually spending a lot of time outdoors! As far as my hair goes, when I’m traveling, I tend to let it airdry and twist it up into a casual bun for day. Then, come evening, I have loose pretty waves when I take the bun down!

  • Teresa said:

I change my beauty routine while traveling because at home I have a huge amount of products and makeup that I’ve amassed over the years. I miniaturize everything! Travel size face wash, lotion, sunscreen, even blush. I also accept that I will have to use the hotel dryer but I bring my flat iron to make up for that. An amazing mini flat iron to add to my travel beauty routine would be like the frosting on my cake!

  • kimberly b said:

I hate packing so I only bring the bare necessities, nothing extra. And you should see my prouct collection. You would be surprised.

  • Lori said:

I definately pack less of everything. The airlines have so many restrictions. I take less hair products. If the hotel has a hair dryer I’ll use theirs. I try to bring all my facial products with me in travel size. There are somethings you can’t live without.

  • Jennifer said:

I usually end up keeping my hair in it’s natural state (wavy) when I travel just because I hate dealing with the hassle of using the provided hair dryer, and I never pack my own since it takes up too much room. This would be great!

  • Rere said:

I don’t travel often but when I do, I change my routine by keeping by my side cosmetics that have more than one use (ex: fat balms that can be used as blush and lipstick) and I tend to just leave my hair in its naturally wavy state because I HAAAAAATE dragging around a ton of hair stuff!

  • Pamela S said:

When I travel I do much less grooming! Just wash & dry my hair and curl a few hairs in the front. Also very little makeup or matching jewelry, etc . I always figure I won’t see anyone I know and after all…I’m supposed to be on vacation!

  • Allison said:

I’m pretty much a wash & go kind of girl most of the time. But my hair often looks terrible when I’m traveling, so this would be small and easy to take for quick touch ups! Thanks.

Even when I travel I try and keep up on my beauty routine but it is really hard. One thing I discovered is a traveling curling iron, its heated by a propane cylinder. I learned the hard way to check it and not bring it as a carry on but other than that its really helpful. That’s why I’d like to win this flat iron. It would be great for travel.

  • Sarah said:

Amazing for travel – great for my bangs!

  • Amy Noll said:

When I travel I try to keep it as simple as possible. Usually using the blow dryer at the hotel or just letting my hair air dry and then stick it up in a ponytail or a bun. Makeup is also minimized, no muss, no fuss. Thanks for the fabulous giveaway!

  • whippetmom said:

When I am traveling, less is more. I don’t usually bring any make up with me when I travel.

  • joanna smith said:

My entire beauty routine is changed up when I travel. I bring only the basics with me, 1 of everything I need instead of having my usual arsenal of products to get creative with everyday. But, when I am on vacation I also tend to care less about how I look, so having just the basics with me is fine. As long as I can wash my hair and dry it when I am away, and style it so it looks great, I am good to go. I wear lots less makeup and only use it to when we go out at night. If my hair looks good, I feel confident, and when I am traveling I am more concerned with spending time sightseeing and making the most of our time wherever we are than how I look, except of course if we are taking pictures! I would love, love a flat iron so I can get even more creative with my hair styles. Thanks so much for the chance to enter.

Especially if I’ve flown somewhere, I opt for trial size bottles of shampoo, conditioner and hairspray and leave my regular brands at home. I also pack less makeup and usually only bring my mascara and cover stick along with me.

Due to regulations and physical limitations (on what I have room for and can readily carry), I downsize and minimize wherever possible. That typically means just packing what I determine to be my “necessities”. :)

I usually straighten my hair; however, when I travel it is pony tails all the way. I don’t look very put together but it is the best I can do. I overpack my clothes, so there isn’t much room for anything else. This would be wonderful to have!

  • Susan A said:

I straighten my hair, and if there is any humidity, my bangs start to curl = the doo is ruined. The Hana mini flat iron would be a godsend, as it is small enough to carry in my purse = Perfect hair. :)

When I travel, I usually bring lots of headbands and hairties so I can just keep my hair up. I wouldn’t need to do that if I had a mini straightener! :)

I never spend a lot of time with my hair. I’ve always chosen styles that are wash and go.

  • Meredith said:

When I am travelling, I tend to just throw gel in my hair and go with the natural look as opposed to straightening since it takes up space in my luggage. I always pack light so I don’t have to check my bag so I try to leave unnecessary things behind! Though that mini flat-iron wouldn’t take up much space, I love it! Thanks!

  • Daphne said:

I stash all my shampoo and makeup freebie samples in my travel bag. It’s a great way to try out new products, and I don’t have to mess with transferring my regular products to airline approved containers.

  • Ingrid said:

I would leave most of my makeup and haircare items that take up space at home. I would use the shampoo and other beauty items that are supplied by the hotel. You can even get free toothbrushes at some hotels.

Oh Wow ! At last !
I’ve been waiting for a small flat iron for so long. So very tired of carrying my “giant” size flat iron with me when traveling. How it will change my traveling ? I’d have perfect hair every day … what a treat !

Let me start that my mother always said to have an outfit and a hairstyle that would fit any occasion you were in. When I travel I wear neutral clothes and I wear my hair in the most neutral way possible in a ponytail. It can be a nice well groomed ponytail or bun or it can be a messed up ponytail or bun. My makeup I keep it simple. eyeliner, mascara and lipstick. Jewelry I try not to wear any. maybe a pair of small diamond earings with a diamnod neclace and that is all. Keep it fresh, simple and very pretty.
