Here at Natural Beauty, we’ve talked a lot about celebrities who endorse and create beauty products with questionable ingredients and production standards, but let’s turn our attention to one celebrity who took her cancer diagnosis and turned it into an opportunity to advocate for women everywhere.

After a late night spent watching “The Nanny” reruns on Nick At Night, I looked up Fran Drescher to see what she’s up to these days. I soon found out that after battling cancer and writing a book about it – titled “Cancer Schmancer” – Fran developed the FranBrand skincare line for HSN.

Enraged by the knowledge that many of the products she had used over the years – particularly personal care products which are, of course, targeted at women who are then vulnerable to diseases like breast and cervical cancer – may have contributed to the disease she developed later in life, Fran took action. She started the Cancer Schmancer movement and is fighting for females to take political action and demand better quality personal care products as well as more effective cancer detection and prevention methods.

franbrandFranBrand includes toners, lotions and creams, and all her products are made with natural botanicals. For each product purchased, some of the proceeds go to the Cancer Schmancer movement.

Have any of you natural beauties tried the FranBrand skincare products? Are they all they’re cracked up to be?

Love it as well! This is the only product, which makes my skin feel fabulous! Love the little sayings on the lid..they make me smile everytime I use a product.

I emailed HSN, because I didn't see any of her products there. Hope she'll be back soon.

Does anybody know if FranBrand is still being sold at HSN? She mentioned in her Nov. show that she'd be back in Jan, which did not happen and there are no products offered on the website at HSN?? Tks, Lidia

Franbrand is fantastic. Having tried many lotions and potions, this line proves that you just need to go back to basics. The real, natural ingredients, the infused oils, and the fresh scent are wonderfully nourishing to the skin. Kudos to Fran!!!
