Now that “Project Runway” is back for Season 8, judge Nina Garcia has a way for you to get your fashion fix in between episodes. “Nina Garcia’s Look Book” is the fourth book by the Marie Claire fashion director and answers that dreaded question, “What should I wear?”

With a guide for what to wear to every occasion, holiday and event, the “Look Book” is every girl’s personal stylist. If you have an important event coming up and have no idea what to wear, chances are Nina has covered it in her book. From the really important events like a job interview to the day-to-day occasions like getting your hair done, Nina lends her expert advice to guide you through your style woes.

Illustrations by Ruben Toledo embody Nina’s fashion visions and give readers extra guidance in their style quest, with much more character than photographs. Also sprinkled throughout the book are famous quotes to further inspire your fashion choices. Nina also highlights some of her favorite rule breakers, sharing with us those who defied the traditional rules of fashion and succeeded.

Of course, Nina does not forget about the importance the overall look, and offers her best hair and makeup advice as well. Don’t forget to check out the Hair Glossary in the back for some extra guidance.

What I love the most is how Nina takes the book past the world of fashion and offers some great life advice. Each style guide comes with tips and tricks to help you through these special events. Her advice ranges from dos and don’ts at a jazz club to eco-friendly party favors. Nina dispensed all her fashionable and worldly knowledge into one amazing book. “Nina Garcia’s Look Book” is like having your smartest and most fashionable friend with you at all times.
