Kristin finally admits her problem — she’s a true shopaholic. There’s absolutely nothing she needs (her two closets are overflowing as it is). She’s vowed to stop shopping until May 16, and she invites you to join her each Monday during this trying time.

One month down. Just two months, two weeks and two days left until I am allowed to shop my little heart out. This week started my five-day stay in NYC, and boy is it hard to not shop while on vacay (especially when your roommate shops non-stop). For reals. Forever21 was temptation city.

I have to say I bought a $5 pair of shades on the sidewalk Sunday afternoon, but that is because I lost mine and I couldn’t see due to the sun. Totally justifiable and necessary. Really. I feel no guilt. However, I did text Anne a few times to see if buying a new watch was ok…it’s a “timepiece” not an accessory. She said no.
