Pop Quiz!
When you’re feeling kinda blah but have errands to do, you:
A.) Wear your pajamas bottoms, since you don’t care about looking decent when picking up dry cleaning.
B.) Wear your jeans, but whine and lament about how uncomfortable they are.
C.) Pull on your new pair of Pajama Jeans (and slip on Oobees, of course)
That’s right, folks…introducing Pajama Jeans, the revolutionary, versatile pants that bridge the much-maligned gap between comfy pajamas and stylish, yet painfully uncomfortable, jeans. You know what they’re talking about — you run errands in your sweats and they get all baggy and wrinkled. Wear your jeans, and they “bind and tug.” Or, at least that’s what Pajama Jeans would have you believe.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve never had an “ouch, these jeans are SO uncomfortable” moment. That’s because…they’re jeans – the very definition of casual and comfortable (providing they fit well)! Even if that were the case, and I longed to walk around in my pajamas all day, adding a few rivets and contrast stitching to glorified yoga pants does not a stylish jean make. It doesn’t even make for a stylish yoga pant. Pretty much, they just look like jeggings (leggings posing as jeans) were having a fat day and went for a wider leg.
So as you ponder this “WTF of the Week,” I leave you with a challenge. Try to watch the Pajama Jeans video without laughing. Advanced option — without even cracking a smile.
