Our style mantra: Fashion and beauty are for everyone, no matter how busy your schedule or how small your budget may be. We represent the fashionista who has places to go, people to see, or just likes to sleep in a few extra hours. There’s no reason to run to class in sweats and unblushed cheeks when glamour can be achieved with just a little extra effort. Check here as Chelsea unveils quick tricks and perfect products that can update your look in a hot second, without breaking your budget.

The chignon may be the chicest hairdo in France, but here in the states, we like it our ‘dos a little less clean-cut.  By making some key tweaks to this classic French style, you can have an adorable and effortless look fit for any occasion.

My favorite part about the messy chignon, besides the fact that it looks cute, is that it is one of the easiest hairstyles to do.  Perfect for when you are running late to class or work, the chignon is instant chic.  More fun and flirty than a regular chignon, the messy look adds some character to your look.  Simply pull your hair back into a low bun at the nape of your neck, and pull anywhere — from a few face-framing strands to a thin layer of hair from the bun.

Add some variation by braiding a few strands.

Or if you are attending a formal event, you can add some fancy hair accessories, like a flower on top of the bun like these from Forever21:

Or just sport some eye-catching chandelier earrings.

Hint: Goody makes this easy hairstyle even easier with its Spin Pin.  Simply spin one spiral pin into the top and one into the bottom of your bun to hold the style in place.
