Kristin finally admits her problem — she’s a true shopaholic. There’s absolutely nothing she needs (her two closets are overflowing as it is). She’s vowed to stop shopping until May 16th, and she invites you to join her each Monday during this trying time.
This past week sucked. This past week sucked a lot. This past week has also taught me just how attached to shopping I have been and possibly just how insane I am.
No sane person gets anxious knowing they can’t buy the pair of boots (but they just keep going more and more on sale) or the new skirt (I really need my 17th skirt! I swear!) that they want. No sane person gets anxious knowing she has to pass all the stores in the Prudential Center on their way to and from their internship. But I get anxious over both, and perchance I had a fidgeting fit staring at the shirt dress I really want from Club Monaco. I am basically a drug addict going through withdrawal. This is just sad; sad I tell you. Multiple friends have also been subjected to my frantic word vomit of, “I JUST WANT TO GO SHOPPING!!!!”
Moral of the story: I was in some serious need for this really crappy rehab.
Question: It is February and I live in Boston. Obviously I put on scarves and coats when I go outside. Do you want to see my outfits with my coats/scarves? What about my bags? I would love your thoughts. Pretty please.

**disclaimer** sorry for the funky lighting in this one…I haven’t gotten around to replacing my ceiling light bulb in a year because I am lazy and my desk lamp burnt out so we were going by candlelight and dusk. I am so rustic. You can see the true color of my button up in the necklace close up.

So about these two pieces. They are both different colored pieces of jade my grandpa brought back from Vietnam after the [Vietnam] war. My grandma passed the necklace on to me in middle school and had the ring custom made as a Christmas present a couple of years ago. I also have a custom made pendant from a piece of purple jade he brought back…you’ll see it soon.
