I’ve documented my haircare woes here and how Scruples helped free me from them, and now I have had the privilege to test out even more of their great products. This time we’re talking about two items from Scruples’ gloss system, Hypershine Repair Spray and Soothing Polish Conditioning Serum.

The soothing polish can be used on either wet or dry hair before styling. However, I wash my hair at night and style in the morning, so I don’t usually use the serum in my hair when it’s wet. Instead I use it in my dried locks before straightening or curling. The spray is applied to dry hair prior to styling.

These products do an amazing job of protecting my hair from any damage it could incur from hot styling tools, and my locks are always left with a brilliant sheen. The one downside to using all these products is that I sometimes feel my hair is weighed down a bit. When this happens, I try to decrease the amount I use each time I style.
