Pamper Your Nails With No-Miss Almost Natural Polish Remover and 360 Brand Organic Cotton Balls

almost natural nail polish removerIn preparation for an upcoming nail polish review, I had to go out and purchase some nail polish remover. Since I’ve read about the dangers of many nail polishes, it’s been many years since I’ve painted my nails on a regular basis, and consequently, it’s been a while since I’ve owned any nail polish remover.

Since I’m reviewing “three freenail lacquers, I decided I would purchase a nail polish remover that was also free from harsh chemicals, namely acetone.

I thought Whole Foods might be a great place to start because the store near me has a great cosmetics section. Sure enough, after a little searching, I found No-Miss Almost Natural Polish Remover. The bottle boasts that it is vanilla scented, which sure beats the strong odor I often associate with removing my nail polish. I didn’t have any cotton balls in my apartment, so I scooped up a bag of 360 brand cotton balls.

The No-Miss nail polish remover worked just as well as any remover I’ve ever picked up at the drugstore. The scent wasn’t as pleasant as promised, but I was just happy to be using a product that is “almost” natural. Instead of acetone, the product harnesses the powers of fruit acid solvents.

The cotton balls are like little heavenly pillows. They’re super soft, and best of all, they’re made from organic cotton that has not been sprayed with pesticides. I feel good using these on my nails, and I feel even better about using them on my face.

Both the No-Miss nail polish remover and cotton balls can be purchased at Whole Foods markets. At $6.99 and $2.49 respectively, these two products are a bit more expensive than their drugstore counterparts, but for me they were well worth the extra cost.
