My daughter who is 18 now was in cosmotology in school. She convinced me that she could give me blonde highlights that would turn out great. Well, I let her try it out and i looked like a skunk with orange and brown hair! It was horrifying!!

My worst hair experience was getting a curling iron brush stuck in my hair and having to get it cut out.
I went to a salon once and asked for small blond highlights for my mousy brown hair….
needless to say three and a half hours later, my hair shone like the sun… all of it!!! it hurt my eyes to look at the neon yellow, and i had to go to work the next day. worst horror story ever
I was in the salon one day when I smelled hair burning. The hair dryer had malfunctioned and burned my hair to a crisp. my hair is still damaged.
Frizz, frizz and more frizz. My absolute worst hair horror. Straightening my hair is the only thing that helps.
Thank you for the entry,
ugh. too many. 1 being when my granmother made me get a perm in the 5th grade. what was she thinking?? then i went to a salon and asked for a trim and they lady gave me an old lady cut and style. there were no mirrors there, they were remodeling…i looked like my grandmother.
with my son, he snuck the scissors in the bathroom and cut around his drawn on harry potter scar her drew on his forehead in school on pitcture day!!
One time a friend of mine gave me a perm and it fried my hair.It came
out very kinky and my hair even started falling out.I had to condition
it every day.It was a nightmare and for weeks I wore a scarf to cover
my head.Lesson learned Don't let friends give you a perm
I wanted to get my hair dyed blonde. The stylist noted that it won't work due to my dark roots.
my worst story is when i was around 13 i washed my hair and decided to cut my own bangs..they were very uneven and not to mention when they dried were so much shorter than i had wanted..remember MOE on the 3 stooges yaaaaaaaaah I looked like him
A few years back I decided that I wanted a haircut to try something new so I cut my own hair and of course.. it didn't turn out very well.. :S
NEVER CUT YOUR OWN HAIR/BANGS, KIDS! I learned it the hard way.
Years ago I let my cousin's wife give me a perm as she was going to Beauty School.OMG! It looked like doll hair after I washed it~I couldn't get a comb through it and it was falling out!! I ended up getting it all cut off as it was that bad.Never had a perm after that~LOL!
I burned my forehead a week before my wedding! The burn mark was still there for all my photos! This is only worse because at the time I “hardly ever” used a curling iron or straightening iron and was just practicing different hairstyles. So sad.

Where do I start? My most memorable was when I was about 12 and my mom had the bright idea to give me a home perm. Can we say circus clown? I cried for days and didn't want to go to school.
One of the worst was a hair bleaching accident when I was in 11th grade. I had gotten my hair highlighted over the summer. Once school started the blonde highlights had grown out. I decided to try to bleach the roots myself. The roots turned orange and I was too humiliated to return to school with orange roots. I had to go to the drug store with a bandana on and dye my hair a dark shade to cover it up. It was a nightmare.
A friend helped me do a perm on my hair. What a disaster! It came out dry, frizzy and some parts of my hair were straight while other parts were curly.
I let my friend frost my hair in highschool. She used a cap and pulled my baby fine hair through every hole. I had white blond hair. Not a good look on an olive complexion. My mom didn't have the money for a corrective coloring at a salon so I was stuck with horrific hair until it grew out. Horrible. Horrible. Glad I don't have any pictures of it.

My mom had the neighbor lady give me a home Toni perm I was in 8 th grade when looks are important My perm was like a poodle no joke it was awful I cried and cried it was a frizzy nightmare
when I was in high school my bangs were cut way too short, it was not fun going to school looking like that
Here's mine: My mother decided to do a spiral perm in my hair one year..not so much spiral and I looked like a mushroom…It took weeks to go out..and I even tried to wash it out THAT night.

My worst hair day was this summer at the amusement park. Just finished riding the water log ride and got soaked head to toe.

When I was 7 my grandmother thought she would do my mother a favor and take me for a haircut. To save money, she took me to a barber. 50 years later I still cringe when I see pictures of me smiling with missing teeth and a boy's haircut!
