Review: Katerina Long Sleeve Shirtdress from Carissa Rose

I don’t know about some of you ladies, but I often have a hard time finding tops and dresses that fit both my bustline and my waistline. If the shirt/dress fits my bust, it’s baggy in the waist and if it fits my waist, it’s pulling at my bust. My flat-chested friends always tell me that this is a good problem to have, but  you know how it goes — the grass is always greener.

One company has made it their mission to remedy this problem by “fitting the female form.” Carissa Rose is a clothing line that claims to “fit your bustline and flatter your waistline.”

How does this work? They offer articles in two versions of most sizes – WE (well endowed) and RE (really endowed). The waistline of each size stays the same while the size of the bustline changes between WE and RE. So while the waistline of 6WE and 6RE are the same, the bustlines are different. Genius, if you ask me! Still not sure if you understand? Simply check out their sizing guide.

The folks at Carissa Rose graciously let me try their Katerina Long Sleeve Shirtdress to review for all of you, and they are now graciously offering one of you the chance to win an article of your choosing!

Katerina Long Sleeve Shirtdress from Carissa Rose

While the fabric did wrinkle easily, I enjoyed the dress overall. It fit both my waist and my “girls” seamlessly and was the perfect work-appropriate black dress. I’ll shamelessly admit the fact that I kept track of how many compliments I got on my dress – four. Woop woop! One coworker even told me I looked like I had lost weight. I hadn’t, so I’m giving credit to the dress.

This could be yours!
