Skincare Star
If you’re dreaming of cleaner, more radiant skin, reach for some grapes…well sort of. Caudalie is a line of skin care formulated to cleanse and tone, help prevent signs of aging, energize and much more. You can find out about Caudalie’s range of products on their online shop.
The folks at Caudalie were kind enough to send me a slew of cleansing products to test out for all of you. I was sent the Gentle Buffing Cream ($35), Gentle Cleanser ($26), Cleansing Water ($14-$26)and Instant Foaming Cleanser ($26).
Gentle Cleanser
While all products left my skin smooth, glowing and clear, the Gentle Buffing Cream and Gentle Cleanser were my two favorites and became daily staples. I loved the Gentle Cleanser because of its rich, creamy texture. Call me crazy, but I like to feel my cleansers, similarly to how I like to see my shampoo suds up. The Instant Foaming Cleanser and Cleansing Water just didn’t have the thick texture I like in my face cleansers. After washing my face with the Gentle Cleanser, I almost didn’t need lotion. My skin was so smooth after just one wash, I was actually surprised. Cleansers can sometimes leave my skin feel dry at first, but not Caudalie!
About twice a month, I reached for the Gentle Buffing Cream to slough away the winter damage on my face. Where dry, flaky skin had been one minute, smooth, shining (in a great way) skin glowed the next. What I really liked about the cream is that it wasn’t abrasive at all. Just like the cleanser, my skin was smooth as butter after buffing away my winter damage.
