Bond No 9: Potent Perfection and the Streets of New York

Psychologists have proven that certain scents can jog our memory, and what better memories are there than those spent perusing the streets of New York? Whether you’re in the center of culture in China Town, enjoying America’s favorite pastime at Madison Square Garden, or celebrating the fourth of July on Coney Island, there’s a scent for it. I’m not just thinking of the sesame tofu and friend rice or loaded up hot dogs either.

With Bond No 9, you can actually wear the scents of your favorite places without smelling like a meal. Eau de parfum collections range from Uptown, Midtown, and Downtown to New York Beaches, with a few limited editions thrown in as well. Although pricey, they come in a large, star-shaped bottle (which looks great on display, by the way!) and last forever. The secret is an extremely potent concoction that only requires one spritz for an extra long-lasting effect.

"Wallstreet" - 50ml for $175

Personally, I’ve gravitated towards “Hamptons” –a unisex perfume that blends lime blossom, bergamot, white jasmine, and sandalwood. All scents are (technically) unisex, but for men I’ve fallen in love with “Wallstreet” -a cool, zesty cologne combining sea kale, cucumber, lavender and ambergris.

Find these scents at high-end retailers like Saks, or online at www.bondno9.com.
