Saving Face With ScarAway

For those of you who are self conscious about the appearance of scars and want to know how to reduce scars, regardless of what they are from or where they are located, I highly recommend ScarAway Silicone Scar Sheets. Personally, I use them to reduce the appearance of acne scars but according to the brand, they are also helpful in reducing more severe scarring such as the kind are caused by surgery and burns.

Say farewell to your scars

I use the Silicone Scar Sheets every night and in just a few days, I can already tell that the redness of my scars has gone down. Plus, a few of my raised scars have become flatter. According to the site, the sheets “effectively shrink, flatten and fade hypertrophic and keloid scars.” The site also says “using Advanced Patented Silicone Technology, previously only available through hospitals, burn centers and plastic surgeons, this medical-grade scar treatment brings you the ultimate in non-invasive, drug-free scar treatment.”

It might sound to good to be true, but they really are telling the truth. I have tried so many different scar solutions over the past few years and this is the one that I have seen the best, and fastest, results with. The best part is that it’s not messy like gels and oils can be. All you need to do is wash and dry your scar area, peel off the plastic backing on the scar sheet, and place the sheet on your scar. Each sheet can be used for an entire week, so make sure you place them in the protective plastic container that comes with the product while you’re not using them.

If you try them and don’t see results right away, make sure you use them consistently for eight weeks because that is the recommended amount of time suggested. I buy them at my local CVS for about $20.00, but they are available at other drugstores as well.

Do you have a go-to scar treatment?

I'm glad you love them as much as I do! I love how convenient they are – it's nice to be able to go to sleep without sticky creams and gels on. They have really helped me and I'm so happy that they've helped you as well!
