Introducing the OPI New York City Ballet Nail Polish Collection

Twirling tulle tutus. Elegant, effortless poses en pointe. Magical leaps and lunges. Even though we may be all grown up now, many of us still harbor a little girl’s dream:  to be a ballerina. Lucky for us, OPI is letting our nails relive our dancing fantasies with its new SoftShades nail polish collection, New York City Ballet.

I am sure you can find this product with a Target Promotional Code and save on a variety of colors.

New York City Ballet Nail Polishes by OPI

Launching in April at salons nationwide, the OPI New York City Ballet collection contains six new shades of nail lacquers inspired by the premier dance company. Ranging from lilacs to beiges and several feminine shade in between, one word sums up all of these shades: sheer. In fact, they are so sheer that you can apply several coats of nail polish and still see through to the natural nail.

Here are some swatches of the collection with two coats each, so you can see what I mean about how sheer they are:

OPI My Pointe Exactly
OPI Barre My Soul
OPI You Callin' Me a Lyre?
OPI Don't Touch My Tutu!
OPI Care to Danse?

The collection also contains a sparkly silver polish that can be worn alone or layered over any of the other hues.

All SoftShades nail lacquers contain no DBP, Toluene, or Formaldehyde, and each includes OPI’s exclusive ProWide™ Brush, which makes them easy to apply.

Keep an eye out for the New York City Ballet by OPI collection in April 2012 at professional salons like Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, JCPenney, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, and ULTA. Each nail lacquer retails $8.50.
