A Casual Christmas

Is it just me or did this year just fly by?  I can’t believe that Christmas is already tomorrow!  How did that happen?  Where did this year go?  I’m not really sure, but what I do know is that it’s going to be a casual Christmas for me this year.  The days leading up to Christmas will be filled with visits from family members and shared laughs over big meals, but Christmas day is going to be a laid-back holiday for my family.

So, in going with the traditional red and green color duo this year, here are a few casual looks you can try out!

Christmas Outfits

Green Leggings

If you’re anything like me, you can appreciate toned down colors.  So, if you want a pop of color this year, but aren’t looking for anything too crazy, try out these green leggings ($187) from Rag & Bone.

Comfy Oversized Top

Why not try out a cozy button down this year?  I’m loving this oversized top ($208) from Equipment.  Pair it with dark skinny jeans and flats for an effortlessly chic look.

Festive Flannel

I have been on the hunt for the perfect winter flannel for months – little did I know all I had to do was check out Uniqlo’s website!  How cute is this women’s flannel ($20) for this year?

Pass the snood, please!

If you need to stay warm this Christmas day/night, throw on this ASOS knit snood ($35).  Use it as a statement piece paired with a classic black outfit and sparkled flats.

Slip in to some flats on Christmas morning

Though I’m all about the heels, flats are going to do the trick this Christmas.  I’m especially loving this Leather Ballerina pair ($20) from Zara for this year – Christmas themed, but still appropriate for everyday wear.

Are you planning on a casual Christmas this year?  What will you be wearing?
