Working in retail, we’re constantly thinking two to three seasons ahead of the current time. Just last week, I had the privilege of viewing the fall and holiday line sheets from jewelry designer Miguel Ases for the store that I work at. Pouring through the sheets, I was struck by the beauty of his upcoming fall collection.

Featuring 14K gold-fill, sterling silver, semi precious stones, and a variety of pearls, the handmade earrings are beyond eye-catching — they’re conversation starters. I love that the earrings are all handmade in the United States, and made to order. Basically that means that they only make as many as people buy; they aren’t mass-produced. Something about this process makes products seems so much more special and authentic.

Although he does make duplicates, the store I work for ordered only one of each style to honor the unique nature of each earring style. Pair with a fun top for a night out, wear them casually, or completely dress them up — the styles work for all occasions.
