Whether its the bangles on your wrists, the belt around your waist, or the clutch in your hands, your accessories speak volumes about your personality. But all too often, we seem to neglect our phones and other tech sidekicks, leaving them out of all the accessorizing fun. Now we can let them in on the action, thanks to a new line of fashionable mobile tech accessories called mobilexpressions.
Developed from LuxMobile Group exclusively for Target, the mobilexpressions tech accessories collection consists of 18 new accessories that fit the iPhone 4, iPad and Kindle Fire. Whether you’re feeling like polka dots, stripes, bright designs or classic solids, mobilexpressions cases let you change your cases as often as you change your stilettos, with prices ranging from $24.99 for iPhone cases, $39.99 for new iPad Cases and $29.99 for Kindle Fire Cases.
I had the good fortune to test out a couple of the cases for myself. While I don’t currently own an iPhone, I was able to get a glimpse of the mobilexpressions Entice case up close and personal.
It has a ’60s mod feel that I absolutely love. (Can’t you just imagine wearing a microscopic mini and some white patent go-go boots while carrying that phone case? Okay, yeah me neither, but it would look really cool if someone else did.) The best part about it is that the plastic case is covered in canvas-like fabric, so you get a really creative texture on your phone, while maintaining good protection with a hard case. I’ve personally never seen a canvas cover before, so it definitely stands out in the crowd.
LuxMobile also sent along a more classic, chic case for the iPad 2.
This Textured Tan case is a great match for the saddle leather Tom’s Bags and Michael Kors bags. I happen to have a leather bag from my trip to Rome that matches this case perfectly, but even if you don’t have a matching purse, this case is classic enough to look great with anything you’re carrying or wearing. It’s also really functional as an iPad case, meaning it has a solid construction and it gives you a good grip, while being thin enough still that you don’t feel like you’ve just negated the whole reason for having a thin tablet to begin with.
In all, this is a fabulous collection, and the only downside is that LuxMobile has neglected to address people who have Droids or any other mobile offerings besides Apple products. That said, I hope they continue to make new designs after this limited edition run for Target (until items are sold out this summer) so that I can revamp my iPad again with the change of the seasons!
