After spotting this head scarf tutorial by Keikio Lynn, I’ve been on the lookout for cute summer scarves to try out the look with. Even though, I feel that this look might be a little difficult to pull off, I’ve found such adorable square scarves that I’m thinking it’s definitely worth a shot regardless! Plus, how easy is this adorable style? Just throw your hair up in a quick top knot, fold the scarf a few times, and tie it around your head! With a quick tuck in of the leftover ends, the scarf is sure to stay in place during all your summer activities.
So tell me, head scarves – love them or leave them?
The colors are so bright and summery!
Typically, I’m not a fan of prints that have animals on them, but I’m a fan of animal prints – confusing, but I think you get the picture. Anyways, my preferences aren’t strong enough to keep me from absolutely adoring this H&M mint green print satin scarf ($10).
Red, white and blue isn't just for the 4th of July any more
I’m aware that the Fourth of July has come and gone, but there’s always room for some glamorous navy and red print silk accessories, right? With that in mind, I’m just loving this summer J.Crew print ($39)!
Keeping it classy
If you’re unsure about testing out the head scarf look, try it out with this minimal star print scarf by French Connection ($19). Classy, but not too busy.
Love the coral trim
With a print like this, who wouldn’t want to try out a head scarf summer look? With inspiration from typography and vintage posters, the blend of this Mapreader print and summer colors provides for an adorable summer look ($55).
