I don’t entirely remember the last time that I said, “I just really want a one-piece for summer.” Well, besides this season, of course. Is it just me or are one-pieces absolutely everywhere? Not only that – this year’s one-pieces are totally fashionable! Ruching, ruffles, patterns, etc. They’re all so different and all so cute! One-pieces are no longer those silly bathing suits your mother wears on your family beach day; they’re all the rage this summer.
After finally making it to the beach this year (yay!) I realized I’m in serious need of a new bathing suit. I still haven’t decided on which one-piece to sport around the local beach, but I’m guessing it will be one of these. Here are my top four!
This fun Camilla and Marc Ipanema one-piece ($220) jump-started my newfound love for one-piece suits. Everyone should have one retro dotted suit in their collection, right?
If you’re looking for a one-piece that won’t cover up everything, give the ASOS Color Block Wrap Swimsuit a try. At $52 the suit features a plunging neckline, halter straps, cut out detailing, and a tie on the back.
Polka-dots are a girl’s best friend, which is why I’m loving J.Crew’s Hot Dot Underwire Tank ($84) so much! From the pretty dots to the ruching, this suit is a much cheaper retro alternative to Madewell’s one-piece.
I’m absolutely in love with the ivory and black stripes on J.Crew’s Skinny-Stripe Bow Underwire Tank ($125). A classic and flattering suit is the perfect type of one-piece for this summer.
Which one is your favorite?
