Happy Hauntings!

Happy Halloween, beauties! Some of us BXers celebrated this spooky holiday over the weekend. Here’s what we did:

The Littlest BXer:

My darn mom dressed me up as a pumpkin and made me smile for lots of pictures. How embarrassing! What does she think I am, a doll!?! But honestly, this onesy is pretty snuggly!

I thought the BF and I were going to do a couple’s costume. Welp, turned out he did a bromance costume with three of his friends instead – they were the four Simpson bullies. So, I hightailed it to the costume store and bought the first thing that fit.

Gabi

This year I managed to plan my costume in advance, but just could not find the perfect dress to channel my inner Audrey Hepburn. However, at the last minute during an unplanned trip to H&M, I found the perfect dress. I paired my newly discovered dress with black stilettos, pearl necklaces, a tiara, sunglasses, a (fake) cigarette holder, gloves, and red lipstick. I actually pulled it off – I somehow managed to pull together my Holly Golightly costume thanks to my last minute dress find.

I didn’t have too much time to go out and find a costume/make a costume, so I worked with what I had. I already had a blue and white striped stress, metallic gold wedges and a gold chunky necklace, so I topped it off with a sailor hat from the costume shop that cost me $10.00. Cheapest costume I’ve ever had! It was great being able to put something together with what I already had. Hope you enjoyed your weekend!

For Halloween this year my friends and I went as a superhero crew. I was Wonder Woman and wore a costume I borrowed from a friend. I accessorized it with a gold headband and tall black boots, to add to my crime-stopping abilities of course! I wore gold eye makeup, false lashes, and my favorite Halloween necessity–eye glitter. Successful costume overall I’d say!
