I love Spring. I love everything about Spring. Floral fabrics, pastel color palettes, strappy sandals and of course, my birthday! Now, I’m adding Lancôme’s Spring 2012 Roseraie Des Delices Collection by Aaron de May to the list of things I love about Spring. According to Lancôme:
Inspired by a rose garden on a balmy, tranquil afternoon, the collection features blush, eyeshadow palettes, and lip colors in soft pinks and greens. De Mey hoped to capture the palette of summer nature, translating water, sun and sky into makeup shades that illuminate both sun-kissed and fair complexions.
I was lucky enough to sample two products from this lovely collection:
Le French Touch Absolu Nu
$35 in Cotton Candy – Sheer pink lipstick in playful ornate packaging
La Roseraie Illuminating Powder
$42 – multi-color powder blush embossed with a delicate rose
I am tinkled pink by both of these products, as they leave me beautifully polished, and do not leave me looking like I was dipped in a cotton candy machine. Plus, I just love the spring-y packaging!
How cute are those diagonal, mint-green stripes?
They are both so pretty, I was almost didn't want to use either product...but I did!
What I really like about Le French Touch Absolu Nu is its sheer tint of color. I don’t care to rock a bold red lip at work, so this offers a great comprise — work-friendly color. It allows me to feel polished without being nervous that everyone is staring at my lips during a meeting.
Just the right amount of color
Perfectly pink pout
La Roseraie Illuminating Powder adds a similar sheer, pink tint to my cheeks, which keeps me looking perfectly fresh.

I love both products, and have added them to my daily routine. Want to snag your own? Then move on over to Lancôme and search the Roseraie Des Delices collection.
What are you looking forward to this Spring?
