Lipstick vs. Lip Tints

I always thought that, for sure, I would be a lip gloss/lip tint kind of girl.  But, I have to admit, I think I’ve slowly changed sides and am now rooting for lipstick.  I even tried out a few different lipsticks from Lancôme and some lip tints from Clark’s Botanicals to test out the pros and cons of each.  Now I can proudly say, I am in fact a lipstick fan.

Even though I do like the lip tints and how sheer they are, I love the soft matte feeling of lipstick.  I tried out Oh My! Shimmer and Coral Sand by Lancôme and can say that Coral Sand was my favorite – the Oh My! Shimmer was a little too…shimmery for my taste.  I did try out the Madge Mauve and Carlotta Pink tints by Clark’s Botanicals, and though they were pretty colors, I’m not really a fan of the wet/shine feeling I have after applying them.
