As a make up lover, I was beyond excited to have the chance to try out Covergirl’s new Queen Collection, which is available in select retail stores.  I gave the Blast Flipstick Lipcolor in Perky Entrain and Vixen Seductrice a shot, as well as the Lash Fanatic Waterproof Mascara.

Now, to be totally honest, I don’t smear on too much makeup on a daily basis, but I make sure to wear lip color and mascara everyday — they’re my essentials.  So, you can imagine my excitement at receiving TWO Flipstick Lipcolors – meaning, I had four single colors to choose from and then a ton of combinations to try out!  Yep.  With Covergirl’s newest flipsticks you can blend the colors to make one all your own; how fun!  I had a blast mixing colors and testing them out each day.  Plus, they’re super fun, light colors — perfect for sunny weather!

I grade mascara on two things — whether it faded off throughout the day and whether it clumps my already short eyelashes.  Luckily, Covergirl’s Lash Fanatic did neither, so I give it a solid A.  I do prefer that my eyelashes separate a bit more than this brush was able to do, but that’s just personal preference.

What’s better than one lipstick? Two lip colors in one! The Flipsticks are perfect if you’re planning both your day and evening lip colors. Throw on the lighter shade for the afternoon, then mix in the darker shade for a sexy medium color.

With a huge selection, grab more than one Flipstick and try out all the combinations you can think of! I mixed one color from each Flipstick to find the perfect shade for me and was definitely pleased with the final color — try out your own combinations!

What better way to explain the gorgeous lip colors than to show you? The top two colors are the colors in the Vixed Seductrice Flipstick and the third is the outcome when you mix them — a little pinkish-red, definitely pretty on lips that are in need of a fun, bright color.

These colors are a bit more summery for the upcoming season. The top two are the colors in the Perky Entrain Flipstick and the bottom is combination — I just love all the options!
