Being the nail polish fanatic that I am, I couldn’t have been any more excited to try a few colors from Sally Hansen’s Complete Salon Manicure line. The polishes are said to offer all of the benefits of your typical five-step manicure, with their combination of a base coat, strengthener, growth treatment, top coat, and pure pigment color. The line is available in 42 shades, two of which I had the opportunity to try out!
How great are these shades for summer? Left: Purple Posy, right: Choco-Latte. Available in drug stores for $7.99 per bottle.
Though I received both Purple Posy and Choco-Latte, I have only given the Choco-Latte a test run so far, but I love it! Though, I don’t believe the name does it justice. The shade is much more of a pink/nude color – which is my favorite, so you can only imagine why I was so pleased when I smoothed the polish on my bare nails.
Though I am no professional manicurist, I would have to say this polish was super easy to apply and even managed to stay on while I was doing laundry and packing my suitcase! Impressive!
I normally use a base coat and a top coat, but with Sally Hansen’s polishes I only used the polish. It applied smoothly thanks to the size and shape of the brush. Is it just me or are those tiny nail polish brushes just so frustrating? I’ve always been a fan of the Sally Hansen brush though; the wideness of it allows for a pretty flawless application. Overall, I would have to say I’m pleasantly pleased with the Complete Salon Manicure polishes.
What color polish are you donning on your nails this summer?
