Hello favorite new eyeshadow, hello favorite new blush.  Let me introduce you to Smashbox.  Okay, okay, I’m pretty positive you’ve heard of Smashbox.  But, I just had to share my two new favorite products.  Without sounding like a total fashion newbie, I somehow managed to go all this time without ever using Smashbox.  I must have been crazy!

Without further ado, meet the Smashbox Photo Op Eye Shadow Palette and the Smashbox Air Blush.  Let’s start with the blush.  Here I go again, sounding way behind the times.  I have always used powder blush, but this is “whipped cheek color” — again, where have I been?  I was so surprised when I took off the cap and saw that whipped texture, and even more surprised when I applied it to my cheeks and it blended with my skin right away.  I’m a fan, obviously.

Next up, the eye shadow palette.  Okay, I’m not exaggerating at all, but these colors stay on forever.  Forever.  Even those nights when I get home and I’m just too tired to take off my make-up (we all have these nights, right?) – I wake up the next morning with my shadow still on.  Plus it doesn’t even appear smeared or spotty at all!  Pretty nifty, huh?
