Just going to throw it out there … the name “Youngblood” makes me think of vampires. Now that I have that out of my system, let’s move on to the actual product review.
While I tend to stick to my tried-and-true beauty routine, I do like to shake things up every once in a while and try a new product or brand. I was able to try both with Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics. I had never tried this line before, and I got to try out crème blush, another first! Killing two birds with one stone – always a plus.
The Luminous Crème Blush is light as a feather, and applies smoothly. While my trials taught me that I prefer powder blush (or at least require more practice with crème blush), I do think this product would be great for those of you who prefer this form of blush. The only drawback I saw was that it didn’t quite last all day. About 3/4 through my day, it was starting to fade.

In addition to the blush, I tried out two Mighty Shine Lip Gels. The name doesn’t lie, they are mighty shiny! The gels are a bit on the sticky side, but no more than I expected from a lip gel. I tested two colors, but I couldn’t tell a difference in shade once applied. If I were faced with a lip gel purchase in the near future, these would be at the top of my list.

Both gels look exactly the same once applied - no difference in color
I enjoyed my experience with Youngblood Minerl Cosmetics, and would consider purchasing them in the future.
What about you – and Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics fans?
