I’ve been hearing all about argan oil recently, as many of the skincare lines that I use on a day-to-day basis are launching products infused with this special substance. When offered the opportunity to test out both a hair and body oil containing argan, I obviously accepted. I had heard of the oil’s certain ability  to nourish, moisturize and improve skin and hair’s elasticity, but now I can attest — this stuff is good.

The first product I tried was for hair- U Luxury Oil ($40)

I couldn’t have said it better myself. My drying time was cut in half, the frizz was at a minimum (always an issue for me) and my flat iron glided over my hair leaving it silky smooth. I did this all this morning, and as I sit here hours later, my hair feels as shiny, soft and smooth as when I finished with it this morning… and I haven’t even brushed it! Also, my friends at work kept petting my hair all day saying it looked like a hair commercial — SCORE!

The second product I tried was for body- Mama Mio Omega Body Oil ($35)-

What I loved most about this above all was the scent — it was so refreshing and unique! I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone with oily skin, however, as it definitely is VERY moisturizing. It soaked into my legs really well, as they were particularly dry, but the application on my chest didn’t go on as dry or soak in as quickly, leaving me with that oily look for a little too long. Still, the product eventually soaked in, and I was left with super soft skin. No complaints here! Just be careful for those of you who are a bit less dry…
