Even though I feel like we’ve been inundated with election updates, candidate commercials, and debate fact checks, I’m still super excited to vote this year. We have the chance to vote every four years, but it always seems like it’s been so much longer than that — or maybe that’s just me?
Regardless, it’s almost election day, which means it’s almost time to start breaking out the reds, whites, and blues. In ringing in this year’s election day, I decided to go with a different look. Straying away from the “v-o-t-e” painted nails and the crazy bright reds and blues, I broke out my new sheswai lacquer. I went with a classic design as it’s something that can be used on other occasions aside from election day, and I think it works. It’s subtle, but still shows off my enthusiasm for voting for my favorite candidates!
sheswai retails for $16 a bottle, and it is definitely worth it. The color goes on smoothly and can withstand a day of shopping without any chips (trust me)!
Check out the sheswai website for more info on the fersure and stoked nail polishes. You can order the sheswai nail polishes right from the site!
I decided to go with a twist on the red, white, and blue striped nail phenomenon. I went with a blue a little bit more on the teal side, and a much darker red. Make sure to keep these colors around for future events!
How do you show off your red, white, and blue on election day?
