Gabi – how to wear emerald green on your outftis
Emerald, according to Pantone, designers and fashion magazines around the globe, is the color for 2013. Emerald green pants, shoes, blouses, jackets, you name it, it’s on the market this year. And, at the risk of sounding like a total blogger cliche – I, too, am loving the emerald green trend. A few of my favorite pieces for 2013 are this J.Crew cashmere sweater, these skinny cords by Gap, and the sloan pencil skirt by Banana Republic.
Kathryn – how to wear emerald green on your eyes
Since green is my favorite color, I’m definitely a huge fan of emerald green. However, I wear a lot of green clothing so I wanted to figure out a new way to incorporate a gorgeous emerald green shade into my look. On a recent shopping trip to Sephora, I found the perfect product. Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in “Graffiti” is the perfect shade for me. Although it’s not explicitly titled emerald green, it’s a bright green pencil with silver sparkles. I wore it with a black dress on New Year’s Eve and received a ton of compliments!
Kristin – how to wear emerald green on your nails
Not ready to sport a wardrobe full of emerald green? Reach for a bottle of polish and swatch this lively color on your nails. I reached for Duri Cosmetics’ Paparazzi, which I’ve had since 2010. Two years later, this polish is still going strong, and the color is more on-trend than ever before. Plus, it’s an easy non-committal way to test drive the trend.
