Kicking Back

On the weekends, I like to kick back and stroll around town in something a bit more comfortable. This typically means jeans, a cozy top and flats. It’s still pretty chilly here in the Boston area, so I pushed my limits with this light jacket. I just can’t stand the sight of my Winter coats anymore.

On my way to meet up with Agnes for brunch, I pulled on my favorite military-inspired jacket and laced up my New Balance x Kate Spade sneakers. While I’m not normally a sneakers-outside-of-the-gym girl, these cuties work great with the athleisure trend so I couldn’t say no.

Now excuse me as I go for another stroll.

What do you wear on weekends when you’re just relaxing?

Those sneaks are too cute! Is it still absolutely freezing in Boston?? I’m a Philly girl, and it’s been rough for me, so I can’t even imagine how it’s been farther north!

Love this outfit. New Balance is what my hubs uses, because it helps with his back… I haven’t found a pair I like just yet but I think this style is nice.

I’m still wearing my down parka. I can’t stand the cold, though I too can’t stand the sight of my parka 😉 I especially love your cobalt blue top. I just bought a cobalt blue sweater/jacket at the Peabody Essex Museum and can’t wait to wear it.

What a cute outfit! It is still freezing here in NH so I am cold just looking at you, though it is probably a bit warmer in the city. I love the super long necklace, it looks great against the blue shirt.

That blue is gorgeous on you! But you know I love me some leopard

so the belt is my fave!

Thanks, Brooke. This blue is one of my favorite colors by far 🙂 And I”m right there with you re: leopard. It’s basically a neutral as far as I’m concerned.

  • Lola Seicento

I absolutely love this look, Kristin! It is super cute, but also comfortable looking! Nicely done!

Thanks so much, Lola! It was perfectly comfortable for walking around and getting brunch.

  • Christine C.

Such a cute and comfortable, but so well put together outfit! I love the shoes and the special touches like the jewelry to make it a little more feminine! PS your hair color is so gorgeous!!!

Thanks so much, Christine. You are too sweet! I thought the jewelry helped dress up these sneakers so they didn’t look quite as gym-ready as they do when paired with my exercise gear 🙂
