Living in Boston during the fall and winter months requires a good pair of boots, if not a few pairs. Luckily for me, BEARPAW is introducing a new line of boots that are great for colder weather as well as stylish.
BEARPAW has taken the classic suede boot lined with sheepskin to another level. Ocelot, cheetah, zebra and floral designs have been embossed into the suede in contrasting colors, creating a new sheen and texture to amp up this timeless style.
The Fall/Holiday 2011 Savvy Collection is comprised of four new styles called Kenya II, Mara II, Serengeti II and Bristol II. The MSRP of these boots ranges from $84.99 to $99.99 and all of the styles are available in women’s sizes 5-12.
The Kenya II is a 10” boot with a fun cheetah print, metal heel logo and charm. It’s available in steel blue and black, maple and black, and black and silver metallic.
The Mara II boot is a bit taller at 12” with an ocelot print but also has the metal heel logo and charm. It comes in luggage and black or cognac and black.
Both of these styles are printed on cow suede and consist of sheepskin and wool blend lining.
The Serengeti II is an 8” boot with zebra printed cow suede and sheepskin and wool blend lining. It is open on the lateral side with a double toggle and has a metal logo on the heel. It comes in maple and black, charcoal and black, and concord and black.
The last style, the Bristol II, is the most elaborate of the collection and the style that BEARPAW was kind enough to send me. This style is available in black, birch, charcoal and chocolate.
With an embossed floral pattern on cow suede, decorative detail, a metal heel logo, and ribbon lace, this style reinvents the traditional suede boot look.
With its sheepskin and wool blend lining these boots are warm and even better, comfortable. I love all of the detail they have because they make the suede style more fun, yet not too crazy.
I am looking forward to the cooler weather just so I can wear these. They’re going to be a frequent staple in my wardrobe. These boots definitely live up to BEARPAW’s tagline “live life comfortably,” and I have definitely become a fan.
